Scenes from the Heart is a classic Visual Novel about a mature but lonely boy (you) who struggles to connect with others due to his superiority complex. His life changes when he befriends Chisaki Namichi, who faces bullying for her unique eye color at elementary school. Together, they later discover Konaka Motomi, a new transferred classmate with her own quirks. As they bond, Konaka introduces improvisation theater to Chisaki and you. Inspired, Chisaki initiates her long dream of a visual novel development project, involving the player and Konaka. Despite initial conflicts during the process, they succeed and win an award for their demo, as a menacing shadow is watching over them, hinting at challenges ahead... The story will be split into two parts: Part 1 is more like a prologue to introduce the setting and the main cast. Part 2 (a separate game) will be diving deeper into everyday life and branching the story at a certain point.
